Ashfield was selected to be part of the Oracy Project for the Leeds Book Awards. The children travelled to Leeds Central Library to work with Richard Priestly, the director of Wordsemble Theatre. They read extracts from the 3 shortlisted books in the Key Stage 1 category: The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures, I am Nefertitti and Five Bears.
