WELCOME TO mAPLES

Maples class is taught by Mrs Davison and Mrs Wilford (Wednesdays) and supported by Mrs Hulme, Miss Marr, Mrs Roberts, Mrs Rhodes and Mrs Watson. 

Useful Info

Maples can bring a book bag and a water bottle in to school each day. We will give each child a Reception library book each week and these are changed on Thursdays. 

PE days are Wednesdays. Children can leave their PE kits at school. This should consist of a white t-shirt, blue or black shorts and some simple slip on or velcro pumps.

School starts at 8.45 and pick up is at 3.15pm. Maples children will line up at the 'Magic Garden' gate before and after school. 

Early Years Homework Expectation

Please read regularly with your child. This can be the library book they bring home each week or a book from home. Once children begin to bring home phonics books, it is very important to read with them over the week and record their reading in their reading record. We might send home tasks linked to other areas of the curriculum over the year.
