Thank you to so many of you for joining us in our Christingle celebration at Bridge Church on 20th December. It made it so special to have so many of our Ashfield family together.
5 pupils each from year 3, year 4 year 5 and year 6 took part in a poetry workshop at Prince Henry's.
We had an amazing time at the Otley Carnival!
Ashfield was selected to be part of the Oracy Project for the Leeds Book Awards. The children travelled to Leeds Central Library to work with Richard Priestly, the director of Wordsemble Theatre. They read extracts from the 3 shortlisted books in the Key Stage 1 category: The Marvellous Doctors for Magical Creatures, I am Nefertitti and Five Bears.
