Spring 2

We have started the half term celebrating lots of different books. We started with the books Winnie the Pooh (Mrs Joyce's favourite) and The Tiger who came to Tea (Mrs Willford's favourite). Acorns loved their tiger tea party! We will continue to look at books, look at the children's books Cave Baby (Mrs Roberts's favourite) and Ten Terrible Dinosaurs (lots of the children's favourite!)

Late in the term, we will learn about plants and planting and then Easter. 
 

 

Spring 1

We are learning about people who help us and have lots of exciting visitors planned!

We have had a visit from Diane from Prickly Pigs, as part of our animal habitat topic but it also linked to our people who help us theme. 

In phonics we are learning about sounds we can make with our voices, rhyme, rhythm, and alliteration. 

Our maths has been learning about patterns (spotting and making), counting and matching shapes and things we have built.
